At PDS when we think of SMILES we think everyone deserves a smile. We’d like to share the heart of our Smile Campaign because this is 95% of who we are and those we care about…FAMILY.

The first thing we see when we meet someone is their facial expression. That first impression is very important. It tells you a lot about the person inside. Some people are self-conscious of their smile. It could be from a birth deformity, whether a structural genetic, like cleft palate or people with teeth at odd angles. It could make them self-conscious, they may loose self-confidence, and that could linger with them for life.

So PDS is supporting correcting that and giving them a good smile which would mean a lot to them personally and also to everyone who meets them. This also includes people who are disadvantaged and may not be able to get dental treatment because it is an expensive process. Regardless of a person being young or older, PDS wants to provide services to people in need of dental care that cannot afford it.

We know that people’s smiles are important and those smiles are important in our lives of those we love and care for. Many of them have smiles that are PRICELESS. Let us know if you’re a provider interested in knowing more and making a difference in the smiles of people. Because “EVERYONE DESERVES A SMILE”.

DR. COOPER AND MARK

I have watched all my life my brother quietly resides in that physical prison life gave him at birth. He has never once complained, never once lamented the bad luck of just for a few minutes not having the air to breathe that would have made him like me..and yet his daily example of courage, strength and honesty has been the biggest motivator in my life. To be the best I can be is a challenge for everyone. However, when I fail I think of Mark and how extraordinarily lucky and privileged my life has been to have a body and mind act as one and not at war on a daily basis. In such a way my brother remains and will be forever, my hero.

VICTORIA AND LAMAR

Lamar’s smile. His smile tells me that he loves me, that he’s happy and that he’s secure. No words required. Just his smile. He makes my cheeks hurt from smiling so much!

YOLANDA AND DR. WATTS

My daughter’s laugh and boisterous personality are infectious. As my favorite (and only) daughter, I appreciate her spirit and love of life. She is a gifted dentist and an asset to both her profession and to her patients. I am privileged to be her mother, and watching her passion and love for dentistry emerge at the young age of three and evolve into her adulthood has been a joy and makes me SMILE!
